Social Development reiterates dedication to enhancing SASSA services

Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and commitment to improving upon South African Social Security Company (SASSA) companies through an engagement with all the agency's senior managers in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.

Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.

On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing eighty one% in the registered pupils within the education sector.

These learners achieved a commendable pass rate of 86%.
